Preschool

My little Miss Brooklyn had her first day of Preschool last week, I can't even believe it! I have never seen someone so excited about a backpack, she picked it all out and has hardly let it out of her sight since. She loves going to school and has done really well so far!

SilverJack

One of the last weeks in August we went camping up in SilverJack with some friends, it was so beautiful. We had a great time, just hanging out, playing in the mud, making smores, and playing games. The kids did pretty great, except Easton had a little mini flu.. yuck, but he did great.

Rough Life

I just had to post this picture of little Easton, I love it! I literally went upstairs for two minutes and came back down to see this!

Two Big 14

Jon had a day off last week and went and hiked Two 14ners! He loved every minute of it, here he is at the top!

Devils Kitchen Hike

Jon had the afternoon off last week and we hiked up with the kiddos to Devil's kitchen. It was a great little hike and Cookie could walk most of the way which she loved!

MoonLight Half Marathon

The moonlight half marathon is the best run of all time in my opinion. It is a prediction run in which you start at whatever time you need in order to finish by midnight. Some of my girlfriends and I headed to Utah to run, we shopped, we ate, and ran with all this glow in the dark garb on us, so so fun!

Visit to Ambers house, and the Zoo!

After being cooped up for so long, Jon and I hit the road with the kids to visit the Thompson home. It was nice to get out and relax. We had some nice pool time, the kids got pulled around in the sled by the cousins, and we hit up Zoo and city creek while we were there!

Cookie was hiding out under the turtle shell, she loved the zoo, clapped every time any of the animals made noise.

Stuck at home with sickies

So the last half of July got really long for us Cook's. Brooklyn got strep throat followed by the lovely hand foot and mouth, in which Easton also got hand foot and mouth and I got the lovely strep throat.. Jon somehow managed to escape it all...lucky dog. We were stuck for about 2.5 weeks! We spent a lot of time playing dress up, getting in the outdoor pool, going on walks, and a hike up turkey flats trail towards the end of our sickness. Also you will notice we let Brooklyn wear whatever she wanted, didn't brush hair, and yes that is a can of pringles that I am letting her down!
