Music that moves you?

So for whatever reason it has been a while sense I really listened to music, when I'm in the car with Jon we are talking and until now I was always busy during the day so I didn't get the time to listen to anything. So I realised recently that I miss my old friend of music, this past week while in the car running errands I have listened to so much fun music on the radio, it's amazing how music can alter a mood, make you happy and excited or reflective. So if you were to see me right now driving my car I would be bopping my head around singing hit and miss words and having a good old time. So the question is what is the music that moves you? I need to get some good mixes and tunes going considering that the radio doesn't always provide the best stuff. Let me know your thoughts!! I need some good stuff!!

I like your background! I love Joan Jett,some of Pink, Kiss by Prince, All Bon Jovi, Blister in the Sun by Violent Femms,Pour some sugar on me,by Def Leapard and Talk Dirty to Me by Poison. I know I am dating myself with these, but these are the songs that make me want to sing loud in the car and run fast on the trails.

mmmm. i've been in a bit a music rut myself. i get so stuck on my old favorite loves that it's hard to keep up with all the new stuff.

i'm la la la lovin' michael franti right now. it's sort reggae-ish. but he sings a powerful message of peace and love and happy-ness!

brandi carlile. all things brandi carlile. worth investing in every album and even some concert tickets. great sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs songs.

the national lights. my mellow music of the moment. but hey - sometimes a girl needs a long drive some depressing music and a good cry, right?!

how 'bout pulling out an old favorite. like trisha yearwood "songbook" i remember you makin' me that famous sandwich at the coffee grinder. turkey, provolone and little garth and trisha on the side {along with pickle and tortilla chips}

love you, G. love you, love you, love you.

Gina, if you have internet access on your computer I suggest looking into Pandora Raido. It's free and all you do is type in a song, artist, or album you like and it will play those songs as well as other songs and artists that have the same feel. You can combine artists and take certian songs off your playlist if you don't like them. I love it! And I know how much Jonathan loves "free" things!

Remember when you made me a CD before I moved back home to California from BYU? That was back in the day when I listened to music. I don't listen as much these days since my hours are filled with plenty of noise already! But, for recommendations, I have a guilty pleasure of watching the show Privleged (so not what I should be watching!!) and there are always fabulous songs being played by groups I have never heard of. check it out on the CW network site:)
